How do I practice?

Initial consultation

Choosing a therapist who is right for you, and you feel comfortable with, is crucial for successful psychotherapy treatment. It is, therefore, essential to arrange a one-hour initial consultation first, which will allow us to think together about your difficulties and what kind of ongoing help would be suitable for you. This will give you an idea of how I practice, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns that you might have before committing to this form of therapy.

Ongoing work and fees

Should we decide to work together, I will suggest a structure for our ongoing sessions.

Length of sessions is 50 minutes.

I practice on a sliding scale depending on personal circumstances, location and frequency of sessions. Fees and all means of payment will be discussed and agreed during the initial consultation.

I currently offer sessions exclusively online. While I am based in London, I welcome people from all over the world to my practice. A consulting room for in-person sessions in Central London may be available soon.

Confidentiality

Your privacy is important. All information shared in therapy is kept strictly confidential and protected by law. Exceptions may apply in cases involving safety concerns or legal obligations, which will be discussed during your first session.

Cancellation Policy

Your weekly session day/time is reserved for you and only you. It is important that you give advance notice of planned absences. A 7-day minimum is required. Where possible and with enough notice, I will endeavour to reschedule a session.
