A few words about me

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with specialised training in working with both individuals and couples. Originally from Athens, I moved to London at 17 to study Psychology at University College London (UCL), beginning a path that has woven together academic inquiry and clinical practice. I completed Master’s degrees in Psychoanalysis and Cognitive Neuroscience, followed by a PhD in Social Neuroscience, deepening my interest in the relationship between mind, brain, and body. Alongside my academic training, I qualified as a couple and individual psychodynamic psychotherapist at Tavistock Relationships (TR), a leading centre for relationship therapy.

I currently work as a Visiting Psychotherapist at TR and I also run a small private practice. Keeping my practice small allows me to work attentively with each person I see and to offer a calm and reflective therapeutic environment. My aim is to provide a safe, confidential, and creative space for honest self-exploration, and I approach each person and relationship with empathy, openness, and sensitivity. I warmly welcome people from all backgrounds and I work fluently in English and Greek.

Alongside my clinical work, I teach and conduct research at UCL and the Anna Freud, where I lead the MSc in Early Child Development and Clinical Applications. I really value the ongoing dialogue between these areas of work, and how they continue to inform and enrich one another. This integrative perspective is also reflected in my work as co-editor and author of Perspectives on Early Parenthood and Infancy: A Psychoanalytic, Neuroscientific, Developmental and Cultural Dialogue (Routledge, 2026).
